PoE boss drop loot filter
Strict loot filters hide boss drops. That is deliberate — the popular presets hide unique base types whose common uniques are cheap, because in a map they are clutter. In a boss fight the same base can be the most valuable thing that drops.
This builds a small section from the boss's real drop table, tiered by current market value, that sits above your own filter and is never allowed to hide anything. Your filter is untouched — you add one line to it. Prices come from the same data as the rest of the site, so if you have set your own prices or an “ignore drops below” value, the filter follows them.
Ready to use, updates itself
Updates itself — as prices move and NeverSink publishes new versions, without you doing anything. In exchange it is the same filter for everyone: your own custom prices and your “ignore drops below” value are not applied, because a shared filter cannot know them. Tiers follow live market prices instead.
Follow it in game →
On the official Path of Exile site. Follow it once and it appears in your in-game filter dropdown, updating on its own. The simplest option by far — you need to be logged in to pathofexile.com to see it.
Open it in FilterBlade →
Same rules, but you can restyle anything, change strictness and add your own — then sync it to your account. Pick this if you want to keep tweaking it.
Or build your own
Uses your custom prices and your “ignore drops below” value, for whichever bosses you pick. In exchange it is a snapshot: it will not update itself, so come back and download it again when prices have moved or you change your settings.
Loot filter FAQ
Should I follow the ready-made filter or build my own?
Follow the ready-made if you want to get it one time and forget, because it updates itself, which a downloaded file cannot, and if you do not care about your custom set prices and "ignore drops below". Build your own if you want the tiers to follow prices you have set yourself, or your own “ignore drops below” value, or if you only care about a couple of bosses. The rules are the same either way; only the delivery differs.
Why do strict loot filters hide boss drops?
Stricter presets hide unique base types whose common uniques are cheap, to cut clutter while mapping. That is the right trade-off in a map and the wrong one in a boss fight, where the same base can be the boss’s most valuable drop. The generated rules sit above your filter and are never allowed to hide anything, so the drop is always shown.
Will this replace my NeverSink filter?
No. Nothing here redistributes or modifies NeverSink. You keep whatever preset and strictness you already run and add a single Import line pointing at the generated file, so re-downloading your filter never wipes these rules.
Why does it highlight uniques I did not ask for?
Item filters cannot match a unique by name — only by its base type — and several uniques share a base. A rule for a boss unique on an Onyx Amulet also lights up every other unique Onyx Amulet. That is a limitation of the game engine, not of this generator, and it errs towards showing you too much rather than too little.
I follow an auto-updating filter from the Path of Exile website. How do I use this?
A followed filter is served from your account rather than saved on your PC, so there is no file to add the Import line to — and that is exactly what the two ready-made filters above are for. Follow the one on the Path of Exile site and it replaces what you follow now, boss rules included. Or load the FilterBlade one, customise it as much as you like, and sync that to your account. Only build your own below if you want it to follow prices you have set yourself, in which case you would keep a local copy of your filter and add the Import line to it.
Can I edit the generated filter on FilterBlade?
Not a generated one — FilterBlade cannot import a filter file at all, because it stores the changes you make rather than the finished filter. That is why there is a ready-made FilterBlade filter linked above: open it, and you can restyle, change strictness and add your own rules on top of the boss rules, with auto-updates intact. The FilterBlade tab in the builder is only for constructing a rule from scratch by hand.
How do I reload the filter without restarting?
Type /reloaditemfilter in the in-game chat. Changes apply immediately, so you can tweak the filter and see the result without leaving the fight.
